What makes Maru des Vintages unique is that, although the brand name sounds like a joke,it is a Japanese-made men's brand that Denim as the base, military and workwear styles with new denim items with a focus on design, high-quality materials from the good old days of vintage, and reliable sewing techniques.

Profile : Kyoji Maruyama

1986 After studying in Paris, he returned to Japan and joined Issey Miyake, where he worked as a men's designer for the Paris Collection.
1993 He has his own shoe collection brand, "MARU."
1996 He began exhibiting at the German International Shoe Fair (G.D.S.) in 1996 and began doing business with Barneys New York. 97AW、98SS
1996 He is responsible for everything from concept to design of New Balance women's shoes.
1998 He founded his own company, changed the name to Kyoji Maruyama, and launched a menswear line in the Fall/Winter 2002 collection.
2001 He designs in Antwerp, the Belgian fashion capital, and Tokyo.
2005 Flagship store "NOUGHT Kyoji Maruyama" opens in Omotesando, Tokyo.
2006 The brand also participated in "TREASURE," an exhibition in Paris that features Japanese brands, and received high praise from the European market.
2020 Due to the impact of the global coronavirus (COVID-19), 2020 has been reset to zero and clothing brands are on hiatus until 2023. And every year I had doubts about the new clothing designs.
2024 A fresh start, and the pursuit of that, led me to the denim and vintage era.
